mrsmay59 asked:

I am on blood pressure meds but the last two weeks I have been having a spike in bloodpressure almost daily. For some strange reason it usualy happens in the late afternoon when I am resting.I had it checked out at the E.R. and everything was ok.Blood test,EEG but pressure was 205 over 122.I was given an ativan and that seemed to work. to get it down. Will traveling up and down through the rockies affect my blood pressure especially when your ears are popping?

Mu husband has high bloodpressure, high levels of potassium. High cholesterol, and is on cumadin. From what I gather from the internet, he should not eat fruit, vegetables or meat. What does that leave? Help.

Has anyone had preeclampsia without really high bloodpressure?

May 1st, 2009 | Posted in blood pressure   Comments Off
Erin J asked:

I was diagnosed with preeclampsia at 35 weeks. Normally my blood pressure is about 100/60 and about the time they diagnosed me it was around 120-130/70. Though my blood pressure is not that high, I still have had some protein in my urine (off and on) and lots of swelling, headaches, seeing spots and etc. Is anyone else experiencing anything like this? I am confused about it. I am 38 1/2 weeks and suppsed to be induced Monday. Each week since being diagnosed my Dr. has thought that week she would have to induce me and then decides I look good enough to wait another week and now she is saying it’s time. Now at my visits my bp is about 120/67. Any help is GREAT!!
Also, I was put on moderate bedrest once diagnosed which has seemed to help.
Did anyone who can relate have to be induced, if so when? Any complications related to the preeclampsia? THANKS!!!
I just want everyone to know I am not the one who gave you guys the thumbs down, I appreciate your answers and the thumbs down is rude.
